The Matt Lottich Life Skills Basketball Camp is one of the Basketball Camps for Kids ages of 6-16. Both boys and girls can attend. While some Bay Area Basketball Camps limit attendance to only players of a certain skill level, this camp is open to all ability levels. They do not even require try-outs in order to attend. Their goal is to provide a program that is challenging, but not too challenging. They want campers to be able to learn from their peers. They find that grouping people by age is not the way to go. Just because two people are the same age it does not mean that they are at the same skill level. This can pose a problem because the coach has to try to cater to all of the varying skill levels. This is why the Matt Lottich Life Skills program is one of the best options for Basketball Camps for Kids. They do not turn anyone away due to their lack of skills, but they do ensure that the children are placed at an appropriate level. Not only does this help them improve in b-ball, it also can help prevent injury. Kids are less likely to get hurt if they can keep up with the pace of the game by being grouped by ability. Not all Bay Area Basketball Camps take this into account. For people that are still left with questions they can talk to the staff members directly before making a decision about attending the camp. The director of the program can be contacted by telephone at 888.537.3223 or by e-mail at info@mllscamp.com.
