The Matt Lottich Life Skills Basketball Camp is considered to be one of the best Summer Camps in the Bay Area because they build character, strength, maturity, teamwork, and knowledge of the game. Now is the time for parents to start thinking ahead to what they will do with their children during the summer months. Before deciding which Summer Camps in the Bay Area are the perfect fit, it is important to go over some of the specific details such as eligibility, tuition, scholarships, and the cancellation policy. The Matt Lottich Life Skills Basketball Camp is for both boys and girls, ages 6 – 16. Even though the majority of Bay Area Basketball Camps only focus on getting better at basketball, this camp has a very unique approach that develops the whole person both on and off the court.  They are coached on decision-making and goal setting, and have the opportunity to build their self-confidence. The coaches strive to inspire quality habits through motivational discussions. . It is a big commitment of time, money, and energy to attend one of the Bay Area Basketball Camps. Children must realize that when they sign up for a summer camp, it is expected that they go everyday in order to reap all of the benefits. Similar to school, if the child is not in attendance, they are missing valuable material. It is the responsibility of the parents to ensure that the campers understand the commitment and are willing to sacrifice other summer activities in order to participate in this camp. It is important to have this conversation early on because; if clients cancel at least two weeks prior to the first day of the camp session they may receive a refund with an exception of the $50.00 administration fee. After that, there will be no refunds for any cancellation. Having the camper help pay for their own participation in one of the Summer Camps in the Bay Area might help prove that they are truly invested and understand the commitment that they are making.  Like most Bay Area Basketball Camps, The Matt Lottich Life Skills Basketball Camp is not free. The fee is $395.00 for one full session. Payment methods accepted include: Credit Card (via the Registration system at check out), Check (mail in) or on site if deferred payment arranged or late registration. Campers receive basketball instruction, a summer camp t-shirt, and opportunities to win camp prizes. To register for the 2012 sessions of this summer camp, parents can go to the mllscamp.com site. Registration can be arranged and paid for with the click of a mouse and campers can start looking forward to building their basketball skills, becoming stronger individuals, having fun, and making some new friends this summer. The site also has information about both full and partial scholarships, if money is a concern.  It is worth looking into the scholarships if money is the only thing holding a camper back from signing up. The valuable experience that they will have is worth the time and energy of figuring out the logistics of making this camp a possibility for a child.
